So, next week I’m going to Chicago. I’m so excited to see my main squeeze, I can hardly contain myself. So far I know he wants to go to six flags, see “Dark Knight”, and I’m also going to get to see him play at his baseball game!! I can’t wait to just get away and most importantly to spend some good “cuddle time.”
I’ve been looking for cute things to wear from all my usual spots, but it always seems that when you’re looking ya never find anything…top of my shopping list is “comfy” shoes, which he said I’ll need. What exactly are “comfy” shoes….coming from a girl that wears 4 inch stilletos everyday even when I check the mail…I have no idea. I’m so used to wearing heels that flips and flats hurt my feet even more. Oh well…guess I have some more lookin to do….

Over the past couple of days, I have watched a couple of really good movies.

UNDER THE SAME MOON (LA MISMA LUNA) tells the parallel stories of nine-year-old Carlitos and his mother, Rosario. In the hopes of providing a better life for her son, Rosario works illegally in the U.S. while her mother cares for Carlitos back in Mexico. Unexpected circumstances drive both Rosario and Carlitos to embark on their own journeys in a desperate attempt to reunite. Along the way, mother and son face challenges and obstacles but never lose hope that they will one day be together again. Written by Fox Searchlight Staring Kate del Castillo, America Ferrera, and Los Tigres del Norte. Really really good movie!! Had me crying 1/2 of the time!!

I had a really good weekend…we took the kids to Discovery Green and had a picnic. After the picnic the kids enjoyed playing on the playground and w/ the water sprinklers…they had a really good time!! It’s a very clean park! Let’s hope it stays that way!!
Saturday I went to a bbq @ my aunt’s….really good food and lots of fun!!!
Saturday night I had some time w/ my girlies…did a walk in and out @ Capones, then went to Tasting Room and Belvedere…we had some really really good times 2 bottles of Velt 1, and a yah yah baby later…ahahah!!!!
Good news today!! My bff in Tampa, Mari, is having a baby!! I’m so excited!! She’s gonna be a cutie pie!! Oh, and she’s due in late Feb. hopefully on my bday!! That’s all we need is another pisces!! ahah!! JK!!

Last night I went to see Stepbrother…it is so hilarious!! I laughed from the beginning to the end of the movie…I even laughed so hard I cried!!
After the movie, we went to watch the bellydancers @ Byzantios. The music, atmosphere, and people makes you feel like you’re at a bar in Mykonos or Santorini they even have excellent greek food!! I love that place!! Everyone is laid back just enjoying themselves. Get there by 10:30pm if you wanna catch the belly dancing show…they even make their way thru the crowd and get volunteers to dance w/ them!!
